The bright star is gamma Cyg (Sadr) and the dark molecular cloud is LDN 899. The open cluster M29 is on the bottom right and NGC 6910 is on the top left. This image is a "true color" narrow band filter image made according to the article in the December 2011 issue of Sky and Telescope, p. 70
